SOLAR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Qualifications

  • Must be a State Licensed Electrical Engineer(GA etc.)
  • +5 years experience in solar electrical engineering preferred
  • Substation design, solar panel design experience is a plus
  • Understanding of substation relay configuration
  • Professional knowledge in Power Flow, AC & DC single line/parallel diagrams, Working of Transformers, Transmission Line Models, Circuit Calculations, Symmetrical Components, Per Unit Calculations, etc.
  • Must be well organized and have an excellent attention to detail
  • Must be proactive and display a willingness to learn & lead

Excellent user of Windows, MS Office, PV Design tools, Autocad, etc. is a plus

ESTIMATOR – ROOF & WALL PANEL / GLASS AND GLAZING

Job Description

Eastern Corporation is seeking an estimator who will work primarily on estimating future projects within our core markets of commercial buildings. This individual will work closely with vendors and general contractors and at times architects, owners, and engineers.

Responsibilities and qualifications include but not limited to the following:

  • Handling the project from the first estimate all the way through contracts being formalized.
  • Ability to look beyond the information that has been given, to ask the right questions and work to provide a complete project cost evaluation.
  • Must be a collaborative and positive advocate for our customers and informing them throughout the project.
  • Must be aggressive in providing innovative solutions to complex issues as they arise related to cost, trade partners and specified products or materials.
  • Experience in preparing detailed conceptual cost estimates and cost studies in a timely manner.
  • Ability to be flexible and to prepare detailed estimates.
  • Ability to develop variance summaries between estimates and to make adjustments as needed should the design changes or evolves.
  • Ability to identify, adapt to, and resolve issues in a timely manner and consistently keep deadlines.
  • Effective participation in a team environment.
  • A strong work ethic with a positive attitude.

DRAFTER

Responsibilities and qualifications include but not limited to the following:

Duties:
  • Provide shop drawing, drafting and design per plans and specifications using computer-aided design and drafting software
  • Work with team members, engineers, and architects on the project
  • Speak and discuss with General Contractors for drawings, material estimates, specifications, and schedule.
Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree
